The Charleston (SC) Men's Adult Baseball League (CMABL) is the local chapter of the national Men's Adult Baseball League (MABL). The CMABL was formed in 1992 and will have 8 teams for the 2012 season. Our season is scheduled to run from May through August this year, and we will be playing a 17 game regular season. The top 6 teams will make a double elimination playoff tournament, that will be concluded with a championship series. Games are played each Sunday, plus one to two weeknight games per team. Our preseason draft offers newcomers the opportunity to join one of our established teams. The Draft for the 2012 season was held on April 22nd. Players wishing to join the league at this point may be added to a teams roster as a free agent if there are roster spots still available. No alcohol is permitted at any of the facilities used by the CMABL - dugouts, stands or parking lots. Any violation of these rules could jeopardize our access to facilities, which would jeopardize the season and future of the league. If you are caught with alcohol you will face a definite suspension. If you need to smoke, please do so in your vehicle.
